Not only does our incompetent and unfailingly lawless president—the worst in our country’s history—demand an immediate impeachment and quick removal from office, anyone who defends this president’s actions or refuses to vote him out forthwith, are as much or more an enemy to our nation, to our flag and to our Republic for which it stands, as their Dear Leader is.
Like the heinous Criminal in Chief—who now commits impeachable offenses on a daily, if not hourly, basis and in the clear light of day—those who support him and abide by his corruption and untold abuses of power, need to be removed as quickly as possible themselves, either through impeachment or through voting all of them out at the ballot box in November 2020.
The president, merely a puppet for Putin, and all those on the far-right who apparently have joined the anti-American, pro-Russian forces, along with the far-right media who support and encourage the ongoing subversion of our Constitution, are a clear and present danger to our democracy.
It should be more than obvious at this point that the entire Republican party and its so-called “base” has sold out their souls and sold out America to the highest bidder, in this case, Vladimir Putin. Having made this pact with the Russian Devil, to retain their absolute power over the majority of their fellow Americans, they all need to be called out for the traitors that they are.
Up to now, most Republicans—and it is no surprise given the utter cowardice shown by those holding office both in the House and Senate—have refused to take a stand against their president or to rebuke him in any way. For the most part, all we hear is. At last today, a few of these traitors to America dared to show their faces on the Sunday morning news shows. Ron Johnson, the vile and twisted Senator from Wisconsin, began spinning so hard on Meet the Pressthat his head literally seemed to spin off of his head. Indeed, the Senator of Slime gave a fairly accurate impression of Linda Blair in The Exorcist, as he trove of lies flew out of his mouth like green bile. Given that Senator Johnson is obviously possessed by an evil far more wicked than any demon supposedly possessing Linda Blair in the movie, it was not that surprising. Drowning in and even regurgitating from the same fever swamp that Republicans happily created in America with the damning help of the Fox News Channel and other Satan incarnates like Rupert Murdoch and the now-rotting-in-Hell Roger “Lucifer” Ailes, they have lost all touch with reality.
All that the few Repugnant Republican Puppets can do to protect their Putin-appointed president, now that they are daring to poke their heads out of whatever hellacious holes they were hiding in for the last two weeks, is spout lies, invective, what-about-isms, and treachery. If it was not crystal clear before now that the current president and his rabid Republican party are set on destroying our country, and that their agenda is evil and diabolical, it was made more than obvious today by Senator Johnson’s illiterate, incoherent babbling as he sat twitching about in his chair on Meet the Press, possessed by madness if not worse, as his head spun round and round and round, and words vomited from his mouth like venom from a poisonous snake.
It seems more than clear now that the Republicans, who continue to follow Putin’s Puppet while praising his treachery to our nation, have brought about the very same American carnage that the Reptile in Chief spoke about during his inaugural address to the nation.
It has only been two-and-three-quarter years since #45 gave that address, but it feels like a few centuries. In that time, the Mobster in Chief has managed to corrupt almost all of our federal government, turning most of it into his own personal crime syndicate, turning our Department of Justice into Bill Barf’s Department of Injustice—the first place the president goes to protect oneself from criminal prosecutions up the ying-yang. He had turned our State Department into his personal investigation service, and converted our Department of Treasury into his own personal Defender against charges of federal tax fraud and tax evasion. And he has done his very best, very much with the able assistance of Mitch McConnell, subverted our judicial branch, including the U.S. Supreme Court, into his own personal Defenders for himself and the Republican party itself.
Who would have thought that a nation as strong as ours, built on such solid principles of democracy, could be brought to its knees by a treacherous and illegitimate president and his cronies at Fox News and within the fever swamps of the ruins of the Republican party? But they have accomplished all of this and far more in less than three years.
Of course, they had a great deal of help from the American people’s indifference to voting, as well as from the subversion of Moscow’s authoritarian regime, as from the media’s insistence on covering the Hillary Clinton email story as though that were the most important story of corruption in our country’s history. Indeed, while the media was hell-bent on presenting Republican lies as fact and covered the non-story, the Republicans were colluding with Russia, and the NRA was sucking illegal laundered money from the Kremlin into Republican coffers. Mueller already pointed out most of this, but again the media ignored most of these facts, as did the American people. Which brings us now to the precipice.
Now that the president publicly confessed and provided evidence of his collusion with yet another foreign power to subvert our electoral process again in 2020 and to further betray our nation, now that he colluded with China out in the open, promising to favor them in trade negotiations in exchange for their providing the same political favors against his potential political opponent in the next election, and did so on the lawn of the White House, as the whole world watched on television, Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats have gone forward quickly with a formal impeachment process. They must proceed to impeach Cult#45, as he is a clear and present danger not only to our democracy and to our nation’s very existence, but he is also quite obviously a clear and present danger to the entire world.
As I pointed out in my blog post last Sunday, whenever you hear our current president accuse others of some crime, he is always projecting onto them the sins that he knows he has committed himself. Hence, when he speaks about the treason being committed against our country he is merely referring to the many sins that he is fully aware that he and his followers have committed against our country.
No doubt, the House will impeach the Criminal in Chief. What remains in doubt though, is whether or not there are enough Republican Senators who give a rat’s ass about saving our democracy from a Tyrannical Emperor that they will do the right thing and vote the bastard out of office.
