The New York Times reported on Friday night that the FBI undertook a covert investigation of our 45thpresident as to whether or not he was, and is, an agent of the Russian government, after the president fired James Comey while admitting on national TV that the firing had everything to do with “this Russia thing.” To launch such an unprecedented investigation into the head of our government obviously would have required a great deal of strong evidence linking He Who Must Not Be Named to Russia.
That our president was—and perhaps still is—suspected by his own FBI of being a Russian tool, puppet, or whatever word you might want to choose, is the sort of mind-blowing news headline that one would not expect to read in even the most farfetched Ian Fleming plot. Not even Ian Fleming could have conceived of a president being suspected of being a double agent and a wholly owned subsidiary of our most formidable adversary. Such a plot would not have been believable in any of Fleming’s many tales of international espionage and intrigue. But here we are, in a world far beyond “From Russia With Love,” and into the far more sinister and dangerous reality of our present situation. Let’s call it “From Russia With Hate.”
Indeed, we all find ourselves now in a reality TV show wherein the current President of the United States may well be proven, and certainly is suspected of Putin’s Puppet, a traitor to America and of all Americans, including his base of support. In truth, Putin’s Puppet, it he is proven to be one, will have broken the deepest trust of even his staunchest supporters, betraying his conservative base, his Republican party, and his country, to do the will of his owner and controller Vladimir Putin, while he has made all Republicans who ever supported his presidency, and aided and abetted his cover-up, complicit in his national treachery.
As the facts pile up, with each of our current president’s pro-Russian actions pile one on top of another on top of another, that all Americans have watched him take in plain sight, it becomes increasingly likely that 45 is a Russian operative, that he was set up in the presidency by the Kremlin, coached and appointed by the Kremlin, supported by the Kremlin, and that he, in turn, promised anything and everything to Putin in return. If Putin wanted sanctions lifted, that was fine with 45. If Putin wanted the Republican Party to take a new pro-Russian stance on Russia’s annexation of Ukraine in its new platform, that was no problem, either. The Puppet and his Russian Toady Paul Manafort would, could, and did make it happen! Whatever Putin wanted his puppets to take, they could, would, and did promptly obey. Break up NATO! No problem. Retreat from Syria and turn it over to Putin and to Iran. No problem. Indeed, all of this and more was “From Russia With Hate” and with vengeance and malice toward our very national security.
45’s campaign, one waged with fear mongering and hatred was clearly aided and abetted by the Russian government. Now, it becomes increasingly obvious that 45 made, and since has kept, promises aiding and abetting our most dangerous adversary. So, the question remains? Where is James Bond when we need him? I suppose he arrived in the person of Robert S. Mueller III, when he was appointed to the Office of Special Counsel and began looking into all of this national madness.
Clearly, the FBI and Mueller’s investigation specifically has been looking into whether or not our president is an agent and an asset of the Kremlin, and they have been doing so ever since our president fired James Comey.
If this presidential treachery proves out to be true, the entire tawdry ordeal of the last three years might soon be summed up in these four essential words: “From Russia With Hate.”
Let’s just hope that our American James Bond soon thwarts, captures, and destroys all of the many villains in this plot against our country and against our democracy, that they all get what is coming to them, and that after all of the traitors of the current administration are shown to the door in prison garb, our man Mueller gets an award from our temporarily and newly-appointed president, Nancy Pelosi
