After his success with THE WILDE SPIRIT, Kerry Ashton put all of his nationally-recognized research on Wilde to good use by writing this full-length, historically accurate, multi-character play. Although written in the 1980s, the play was never produced and was only recently rewrtten and published by Amazon in January, 2014.

Featuring a cast of more than twenty actors, with some parts being capable of double-casting, this full-length play brings the story, passions, wit and tragedy of Oscar Wilde to life, but does so with a twist, as Wilde's Ghost acts as the Narrator and Commentator of his own story. In this way, Wilde, as Narrator, can relate the experiences of his own time with those of today, drawing contrast between the Victorian society of late 19th Century England and our society of today.
