Kerry Ashton has spent most of his time since 2000, when he was diagnosed with a rare form of Endocrine Cancer known as Pheochromocytoma, recovering from this disabling condition. Happily, though, as his health has improved, he has now returned to acting and writing, and is currently available on occasion to perform engagements of THE WILDE SPIRIT again.
In the meanwhile, Kerry has used the following promotional photographs by Kin Chung Kong to promote his play since 2000, and has used these as the basis for the cover art for the recent 2013 publication of THE WILDE SPIRIT, and also to promote the play's Off-Broadway DVDs, the Original Off-Broadway Cast Recording on CD, the Audio Book of the play, and other related projects.
The release and publication of THE WILDE SPIRIT and so much other related materials, in 2013, represent Kerry Ashton's return to acting and writing. Currently, he is hard at work on the final editing process for his upcoming autobiographical novel, A STRANGER AMONG SAINTS, and also on a new play based upon his personal battle with, and victory over, cancer.
