In addition to writing the background musical score and all of the music and lyrics for his award-winning and critically acclaimed one-man play, THE WILDE SPIRIT, Kerry has written and recorded several songs.
His list of accomplishments as a singer and songwriter include the recording of the Off-Broadway Original Cast Recording of THE WILDE SPIRIT on CD (soon to be available on this website as well as thru Amazon.com). Ashton's music and lyrics and background musical score for THE WILDE SPIRIT are also included in the published Audio Book version of the play, soon to be released thru Amazon.com as well as on this website.

Though Ashton usually speaks the lyrics of most of the songs of THE WILDE SPIRIT when actually performing the show live, as he does in the Audio Book and in the Off-Broadway Original Cast Recording on CD, a version of Ashton singing all of the songs written for his one-man play, a CD titled, LIVE FROM PROVINCETOWN: KERRY ASHTON SINGS WILDE, is scheduled for release thru Amazon and also on this website during the coming year. There are also video clips of a full  musical version of the play, where Kerry sang all of the songs as an experiment when he performed the show in Provincetown, MA in 1992. These clips can be seen by clicking the button at the top of the page. The DVD of THE WILDE SPIRIT, THE MUSICAL, a performance DVD taken during the 1992 performance run, is scheduled for release by mid-to-late December, 2013. Additionally, Kerry will be releasing his first CD as a Singer/Songwriter, THE KERRY ASHTON ALBUM, which is scheduled for release thru Amazon and on this website by Spring 2015.
